Keharwa’s approach of imparting Bharatanatyam in its pure & traditional form is highly popular and welcomed by all our patrons. Keharwa follows a course curriculum, programmed for gradual progression from one lesson to the next ensuring perfection of each and every dance lesson be it the adavus (steps), mudras (hand gestures) or dance songs.

An artist by passion, dancer by profession, loves teaching & a travel lover.

Artistic director of Keharwa, Kalamandalam Sreelakshmy is a highly talented Dancer with extensive experience and remarkable background in a variety of classical dance forms: Bharatnatyam and Mohiniattam. She was trained at Kerala Kalamandalam, deemed to be University of Art and Culture by the Government of India, a major centre for learning Indian performing arts. Sreelakshmy embodies immense & rich experience in performing art, teaching and choreography and is also a firm believer in spreading this knowledge and skill to the best of her ability.
